Car Model:
My '82 Mirada failed emissions (has to pass once in WI for Collector's Plates)...the details are:

HC: MAX Limit: 2.0 MIRADA Reading: 2.5795 - FAIL
CO: MAX Limit: 60.0 MIRADA Reading: 96.1360 - FAIL
NOX: MAX Limit: 3.0 MIRADA Reading: 2.3708 - PASS
Gas Cap - PASS

Attendant said with the numbers it posted, the carburetor is usually the culprit. It really doesn't idle too smoothly and is REALLY hard to start when the engine is warm - in fact, I was afraid it wasn't going to start (cranked and cranked - had to floor it to clear the carburetor as if it was flooded and it killed after doing that twice - finally got it started and two-footed the gas and brake and once I got it going it seemed OK the rest of the way home) after I went in and got a 30 day extension on the emissions testing.

Anyone have any ideas where I can find the correct specs so we can try to adjust it out? If that doesn't work, any recommendations for carb re-build kits?

Thanks!

Don
