If it's not totally dead, 303 Aerospace Protectant may bring it back. Don't mess with ArmorAll type products...usually they will appear to help in the short run, but will greatly accelerate the vinyl's death! |

I hear that in the 60's guys used to use pledge wax on their vinyl, It protected the vinyl but still allowed it to 'breathe'. Now they have these pledge handy wipes you buy that are like baby wipes and Ive used them for years without problem.They also give the vinyl the correct tone of gloss unlike the Armorall glaze. Armoral really is crap and the last thing you want on vinyl is a thick coating of silicone. Ive witnessed silicone destroy alot of things on me that I intended to protect by using it. Now I dont go near the stuff |
