I recently ended up with a rocker shaft that has 5/8(?) pipe plugs (socket head type) in the ends of it....was this factory or was this a home-brewed method of plugging it back up after a thorough cleaning? It was on a 68 model engine.....
Thanks!
Bill

Not factory (factory used press-in cup-type welch plugs).
