So, I've had some time this week and I've got some work done. Removed is the radiator, accessories and the head. Here is a pic of the driver's side bay:

You will notice that I painted up the water pump pulley. Missing is the brake master cylinder. I got one that came with the car and most of the lines as well are new. Just need the time to install them all.
Here is the passenger side bay:

The head removed, hopefully will get rebuilt this week if money allows. The cylinder walls are like new! The car's odometer reads only 53,000 miles and I tend to believe it. I will also need a new distributor. The unit that came with the car seems to be sticking a bit.

Here is the bottom of the cylinder head. You probably can not tell but the #3 and #5 exhaust valves are seized open. I have a feeling that this was due to the years of unleaded fuel use with the soft seals. It does not show signs of overheating at all. Next up, when time allows, is to pull the cover and check the chain, though everything seems to have been turning freely. I will change it and the gears anyway.....just for peace of mind.
