Moparmen, I'm buying a '74 parts Dart to feed to my '69 Dart and one of the many things I would like to take off it is the windshield, since mine has a rock chip and the edges are hazy. In researching, I have come to the conclusion that the two are the same shape but on the Yearone site the gaskets for the two years are different. My guess is that they just changed the method of securing the glass between those years without actually altering the glass shape. Am I right so far? Do I just buy a '69 gasket to use with the '74 glass and be done with it? I should note that both cars are 2-door hardtops. |

According NAGS, the same windshield is used in both a 69 Dart and a 74 Dart, the part number is DW690. In fact, NAGS lists the same weatherstrip for both cars. There are 3 different weather strip part numbers; I'm guessing for different trim levels, but all three are listed for both models. |
