I'm about to start the conversion from /6 to super6 on my '75 Valiant. I've already picked up all the parts I need with the exception of the carburetor. I'm not sure which carb to pick or how the kickdown linkage will differ between the choices. Currently, I have the kickdown off of a '77 Volare supersix setup.
I'm wondering which carbs the volare linkage will fit besides the 2280/6280? I'd like to go with a holley 2300. How will the kickdown linkage vary between the stock carbs and the 2300? Will I need to fabricate my own?

If you look through recent posts, this topic has been discussed /several/ times. The stock linkage is designed to work with the BBD. Anything other than that will require modification. The Lokar cable is a relatively painless and much more versatile swap, however, and possibly cheaper than trying to track down an original setup.
