Post subject:  carb kick down linkage? pic
Image Has anyone else had this problem My carb that is not original throttle linkage runs right to left I am trying to fabricate kick down linkage. The white piece from the throttle linkage to the kick down linkage is my attempt. The carb is a Weber Carter Motorcraft and the tranny is a 904. Do I need to locate an original carb for the linkage to work? I have a Lokar cable, but with the way the throttle linkage works it will not work.Thanks for all the help and Patience in teaching me how to post pictures!

Is that off of a 200 6cyl ford a 1946 Holly? I had to do something like that. I had put on a Carter YF one barrel and had to fab up some of the linkage.

This other image is how I hooked up my kickdown to a Holley/Webber 5210. I hope this might help

I am not sure what the carb is off thanks for the pic of the linkage I mine is not working instead of kicking down all I know is mine is not working it keeps slipping back into neutral.
