hi 2 years ago i did the hei conversion on my 87 d100 slant six. yesterday i changed the radiator hoses and checked the pulleys for a noise i heard. after i shut the hood the truck would not start. i figured the module was bad so i changed it. same problem. now my question is on a good hei module i should have power on the distributer terminals ( w and g) right? those terminals are o volts on my setup right now. the cap, rotor, plugs and coil all look good but i am not getting power through to the distributer? HELP. |

Double check the ground. The units will not work if not grounded. |

The same wire that goes to your coil is the one that should have Voltage. Jess |

Yes the coil should, but when the ignition is firing shouldn't the other side have voltage also? |
