I'm wanting to know a little more info on the 1969 Dart GT's with a 225 Slant Six. From what I understand there were less than five thousand made, but that's about all I know. I'm having a hell of a time finding another one aside from mine anywhere online. Anybody else have some more info on these? |

I once had a project 69 GT convert. Guy found out I had it and made me an offer I couldn't refuse. Seems he also had a 69 GT hardtop and wanted to have both the hardtop and convert. Saw him a few years later at a show with the convert - he said he should (jestingly) "kick my a$$ for selling him that convertible"!! Cost way too much to restore it and he ended up having to sell his GT hardtop to pay for the resto on the convert!!! Both were 318/904 cars. |

Without looking up official production figures (got 'em at the office, where I'm not found most Sundays!), I doubt the "less than 5,000" figure. It's possible it could be close to true, but it sounds much more like a line from a classified ad. The Dart GT was, unless I'm grossly mistaken, a briskly-selling model in 1969. |

Ok I found some production numbers, 5600 were made. http://www.foundationpc.com/sales.html It seems like they're pretty rare, I'm having a hard time finding another one. I'm just trying to get some pricing ideas going on, but it's not happening as far as I can find. |
