What do you think the very unstable or leave the ground speed would be for my 67 Barracuda if lack of power were not a factor? |

Too many variables. You could however push it over a cliff. |

Strap a JATO unit to the roof, set it alight, and find out for us. |

That'd solve the Mouse in the Headliner problem. |

I know my 94 Altima would start darting back and forth at around 85 MPH. I am not a fan at all of high speeds even if the car is stabil. I relieve anyone giving a MPH of liability. |

my car wich is based upon the same body style and year as yours, is very stable at high cruise speed, say 100 mph +/- 10 mph. Fuel mileage cruising at that speed sucks, but the car can see steady 130 mph before it starts kinda do whatever she feels like doing over the pavement. I¡'m driving with PS (not BS, heehhe |

Before my Duster expired I had the speedometer pegged out (100) one time and it was almost uncontrallable. The whole car shook so bad that the glovebox door came open and the rearview mirror turned around backwards. My ex-girlfriend thought it was hilarious even though we were probably going to die if I lost control. I always knew she was a little off. I never went over 80 with that car again after that. I am scared to try out my Miata (WAY too light and I prize it too much). I look back at the all the crap I did and I say, god I was dumba##. |

you gotta have your car in top shape before try'n wind up the speedo... really gotta work on the car (and tires/brakes/suspension) before playing Mr. Smartypants with the gas pedal. (of course, I don't do it all the time, meaning, playing by my rule and being safe instead of plain old wacko) my other car (VW GOLF MPEFI 1. |

Well, my 64 Dart and 66 Valiant are quite stable up to around 130MPH. I guess the V's only been up to around 115 so far. I set the cars up with a little downward rake. Tight suspension and good tires help A LOT. I've had my 68 Dart to about 120 and to 110-115 plenty of times - pretty stable too. Lou |

The SS/AA '68 Barracudas are running over 150mph, with skinny front tires, and rear tires with 6lbs of air and thin sidewalls! The only time they head for the sky is off the starting line. |

According to my wind tunnel expert Mr Red Neckerson who has a degree at little Ga Tech he caculated it would be about 55mph caught in a f-3 tornado. Yep that would pick er up. If any more aero questions arise Mr Neckerson said they would be a small fee say a six pack. Thanks Possum It Aint Over Until I Win |
