I am switching out my steering column from auto to floor shift. On my column that is a column shift there is a switch down where the plug is that is held by 2 3/8's bolts. I am wondering whatthe switch is? I am going to be running a Lokar floor shift in the car. Any idea what this switch is?

That's your reversing-lamps switch. The console shifter will have its own reversing-lamp switch.
