Is this another of Dennis' hoaxes? Reminds me of of the "Supra head on a Slant " scenario.....who started that anyway? |

this was a topic about a year ago-- was sold on ebay to this guy for like $700-- he has now re-offered it's rustic beauty to us all... Wow -- already not for sale-- Hmmmm-- Dan must have used the BUY-IT Now for $9999 |

One issue of Slant Six Racing News hinted at it, presumably as a joke - it was supposedly in an MX-6 tube frame racer. That was the earliest reference to it I'd seen, somewhere around 1998, maybe? It was old enough that I do know it appeared on tailfins.com.Reminds me of of the "Supra head on a Slant " scenario.....who started that anyway? I did at one point look into Supra pistons in a slant. But I concluded that MR2 pistons were a better choice (seriously, I worked out a way "on paper" that they could work in a turbo motor). |
