Will the exaust manifold on this 225? 77 dodge van work with the 2bl intake? I got the two bl intake off e-bay and I called the guy and he has this other stuff "alright, i received the payment. Thanks! i have a few stuff for slant 6's that i wont be using. electronic distributor super six air breather carter bbd (not rebuilt yet) 4bbl 5270 offenhauser intake 4bbl kickdown linkage 4bbl fuel lines 1bbl intake 1bbl fuel lines 1bbl kickdown linkage 1bbl exhaust manifold MSD 5 ignition, would go great with an electronic distributor. i also have 2 extra 904 transmissions. and a 66 factory airbreather that will fit a carter bbd carb" Maybe I can use some of this stuff to beef up the B-100 purple W/Kragers "Shaggin Wagon" and resell the 2bl intake. If it seems I'm stumbling around trying to make this truck run as cool as it looks then your right. A confesion is in order here " Bless me Mopar for have almost sined" I bought a 340 off e-bay; .030 over, steel crank, mild cam, edelebrock, under 1k on it pulled to put in a big block. The next morning I called him up and backed out of the deal, gave him the money difference between my bid and the next bid down took a mild ass chew'in and my e-bay rating stayed at 100% I've realized that as a sculptor driving the coolest work truck in Fort Myers the only thing cooler would be for it to be a 'haul'in ass' slant 6. We had a conversation on the board a few weeks ago "A breathless B-100..." listed below. I got such a nice response from everyone that I kept checking my e-mail every hour hoping to here more. The 3 speed W/Od standard I may keep, was going to auto but I got used to it. The power steering (it has standard steering) is going to be installed. Eat a fer french frys and try and paralel park this thing. Do I have a question? Yes, the one I should have ask to start with; What would you do with this Van to make it reasonably impressive as to performance within it's it's ability. Tell me what you do. I like you people, D.J. PS Nitros for that precious moment? I'm soooo open. 'Pip my van' Please. (don't know how to post a photo) |

It sounds like you need to buy some SL6 parts and get to work. Check the rear end gear ratio, sometimes the vans have high gear ratios and tall tires, that makes them hard to get moving. DD |
