Hey everybody, I'm new to the forum and have some questions.

I just purchased a 75 Dodge Dart Sport with a 225. The car has been sitting for awhile, but started right up and ran fine. I drove it 45 miles home.

After I got it home, I started looking under the hood and noticed that most of the small vacuum lines were broken and/or disconnected. Does anyone have a vacuum diagram so that I can get these hoses repaired or replaced?

After I drove it to the carwash, I noticed that the engine was reving real high. I pulled the aircleaner, and there is a solenoid on the back of the carb that is kicking up the idle real high. A friend said that it was to prevent run on? I turned it down so that now it idles, but when I went to start it up again (cold engine), it wouldn't stay running or accept throttle.

I also noticed alot of blowby coming out of the air breather on the valve cover. It is supposedly a 60K mile car. Could this possibly be a stuck ring? It dosent' smoke out the exhaust.

I am trying to make this car dependable before I give it to my nephew for his first car. Thanks in advance for your help and responses!
