Installing aftermarket oil pressure guage, Anyone have any suggestions were the easiest place to install it into the oiling system? Thanks 5258 |

On the oil pump, where the pressure sender for the dash light goes. You will more than likly have to get a brass adapter to install the kit...just get one the same thread as the sending unit. If you like, you can also get an adapter so you can run both the pressure guage line and the sending unit so you keep the dash light. You'll notice the red light before you see pressure loss on the guage. |

Many of the aftermarket kits will include a small assortment of common size brass adaptors- If not, as Eric W. stated, just bring the original sending unit and the aftermarket one to your favorite hardware store to match up the proper adaptor size...
