Well I was having a little tooo much fun yesterday. I dumped the clutch hard and and the pressure plate broke and came thru the extension housing. I havent accessed the damage yet, But I will need the housing for sure. 83 Ram, 833-OD. |

Yes, a clutch failure can get nasty. I had this happen to me with a 440 A-Body, doing a 3 to 4th "speed shift". The complete drive line, engine to rear end was turned into trash in an instant, took me 6 months to get the car back on the road. http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2000/11/lakewood/ DD |
