I heard they are lighter than sl6 spec solid lifters and noticed some part#'s on summit for lifters for a bb and it also listed the slant 6 170 as an application but IIRC there isnt any difference between 170,198,or225 lifters.....

Is lighter better for HP or cam wear etc?

Slant six "nano-science!"

Yes but not an issue, unless using a very radical cam, and a lot of revs.

You know 3 1/2 HP with a streeter is OK with me! Especially when you have 198 inches to play with
