Okay guys. I know I have asked this before. I need two new DODGE emblems for the header panel and the trunk deck lid for my 74 Dart Sport. Ebay is a too time consuming for used emblems so that is not an option. Layson's sells these items for $26.00 each, yet I am on back order with them and I'm tired of waiting (I know Dan's opinion on Layson's). Layson's says these emblems are made in the United States. Who makes them and what is their email address or telephone number? Does anybody have two for sale? Thanks for your help.

I spoke to Mike at Mitchell Motors and he had two NOS emblems for $69.95. Not cheap, but they will ship tomorrow. One more item located. Thank you and all the Slant6 members. It would be impossible to do these restorations without web sites like this.

For things like emblems, etc. you can try Texas Acres in Harker Heights, Texas. Again, not the cheapest, but they might have what you need in a pinch. I bought a very nice "DART" fender emblem from them for Aaron's Dart Sport a few years ago. It cost $20.

My two NOS DODGE emblems arrived via mail yesterday. They are still in the original Mopar package with description (1 PIECE 3613151 N/PLATE) and 1973 Chrysler Corporation copyright on the packages. These will go on the car when the paint job is completed. They look brand new but they are still pot metal. It may be impossible to find these again in the future. Still, it is pretty cool to find thirty-plus year old new parts.

74DartSport Mike will let me run thru the yard and pick parts and chat while i drool at the parts he has. Not to many people get to do this. Yes he is pricey but he has got what you want. Dan puts him down but where the hell are you going to find what you need. Every thing here is getting crushed and is going to China. no questions asked you doint have to pull batterys gas tanks tires or wheels. Chrush and ship at the wrecking yards. Thanks Ron Parker :D
