| Post subject: | dutra dual exhaust routing? |
I know this has been gone over before. I read the old posts. I have a 66 dart with 4 spd. I built a split exhaust for it but have it for sale because of the problems fitting 2 pipes thru the linkage area. I tried mocking it up with plastic pipe but the 2nd pipe becomes very conveluted. before the manifolds go on e bay does anyone have a picture or diagram of the routing thru and around the clutch linkage? My local shops don't want to touch it? Also does any one know a shop that mandrel bends in the eastern NY, western CT area? Thanks for any help................... |

User 66 Dart had to have his run from the duals to a single "fat pipe" to go through that area (not much area in there like the 1967+ "fat body" cars), once clear of the pan rail it runs under the car for a bit then splits for a set of dual pipes... FYI, -D.Idiot |

I decided today, (after another mock up session)to put the duals on e bay. I'm gonna run a 2.25 inch single pipe on stock manifold. The long term for this motor is turbo anyway. Thanks.....(My efi stuff is for sale to.) |
