Wouldn't ya know I just get done super six'in my car and my block cracks. right above the starter about three inches long. no fluids seeping so far. just a little rust. I just finished running some KW block seal into the system as instructed on the bottle. we'll see how long that holds up. Anyone in Nor Cal got a rebuildable forged crank block they want to sell? By the way This is very similar to another crack I've seen pics of on this sight. Is this common for all /6 blocks or just certain year castings? mine is a 75 |

Does anyone have any experience with Lock n Stitch for repairing cracks? They are out of Turlock ca, just east of San Francisco. As long as the crack is not compromising a bearing journal or other structural body. I have seen their product, looks like it would work well. |
