Hey, a while back you were talking about building some poly engine mounts for early A bodies. I am wondering if you are still considering it? I am still very interested.

That was batted around but then someone said that Imperial Services was going to make them so it kind of died. I've checked Imperial several times though, still no mention on their web site.

That's what would appear to be but I haven't called them to inquire so I don't know for sure.

Valiantboy, perhaps instead of supposing, you could have a little patience, calm down a little, and then call Imperial Services and, y'know, ask?

Why do you always have to point out the obvious :P

I ask myself that question on a regular basis when people ask questions on here they could easily answer themselves if they'd just afford 30 seconds' effort and thought.

Look at it from the maker's perspective: He's got on his hands a petulant individual demanding brand-new, top-spec, custom-manufactured parts at 1970 prices for delivery yesterday if not sooner. Gee, I donno about you, but that'd certainly make me wanna get out of bed in the morning and go to work on those special parts...not!

Each of us would like to have a magic wand that we could wave to instantly produce parts to special spec, brand new and perfect, at zero cost. The closest any of us comes, and it's only a very few of us at that, is to have the skills, facilities, resources, time and desire to craft such parts the non-magical way (with dollars and hours and sweat). The rest of us will just have to wait!

Amen, Brother. Throw in the wild card of waiting for other busy people to squeeze your pet project into their schedules, and it just gets better. To steal a quote from Ahnold, "Relax, you'll live longer". All you can do is push a pebble and wait for the avalanche.
