Hey fellers, would a slanty with 43,000 original miles be worth $495? There's one in our local penny saver and I was wondering about what these engines go for. Davey |

I've turned down 3 free ones in the last year alone. Low miles on a slant dosen't make it worth $500. My 2 cents |

If you need one and can hear it run and it runs sweet, $500.00 is a good value. ( a decent rebuild will be 3 times more) If it is "just a spare", watch for a better deal. (my 2 cents... now you almost have a nickel!) DD |

Slants are free in Las Vegas.....just go to Mopars at the Strip and hang out in the slant pits until a guy drives up in a van and asks you to take it away.....no really! |

I missed a free one at a swap meet Sunday, but another guy came up and gave me one before I got out the door. That sure is a handsome feller in the red shirt there Doug. |

I just picked up a 72 duster complete car for free all the guy wanted was the grill (well truly it was not free I had to spend 15 min pulling the grill) car runs great and all (just no title) so to some a slant or a car with a slant is trash (but our treasure) |
