Really stupid question: did all 71 Dusters with the horizontal grills have a Plymouth emblem, or did some come without? I need to replace mine, but it has no emblem, and all the ones I've found have one dead center. Thanks.

Actually, only the '70 Dusters and Valiants came with the Plymouth emblem in the grill. The '71 and '72 grills look identical, but have the emblem omitted. Of course, over the last 35+ years it's quite possible that somebody either swapped in a '70 grill or added the emblem, as the holes for it were still there in '72. To make a '70 grill into a '71 or '72 grill, remove the emblem. There is a retaining nut on the back side.
