I just finished installing an Offenhauser manifold and 4bbl Holley on my 63 Valiant. The carb is an older model 390 cfm list 6299. While hooking everything up, I realized this carb has no provision to connect a PCV valve and hose. I'm really bummed out and would hate to have to buy another carb after rebuilding the one I have. Is there any other feasible way to connect the PCV to engine vacuum?

By the way, the Offy manifold, 4bbl carb, and Dutra Dual system really wake up the slant six!

Does your intake have a plug you can take out and put a fitting in? All three of the Offys I've had did. Dennis

You could buy an aftermarket four barrel air cleaner. They usually have a way to hook up the PCV, just check on the box. I had to do that for a ford engine once.

That's what i would do----or drill and tap it.

If you want to add a new vacuum source, try to get it into the center plenum area instead of out on a runner "leg". Doing this helps keep the mixture even between cylinders.

I have seen carb. spacer plates which have the vac. source in them and I have even drilled / tapped a fitting right into the carb. ( Many have an undrilled "boss" just waiting for you.)

Yes, it sure does. I just didn't think to use it until you suggested it. I bought a brass fitting that screws right in and connects to the PCV hose. I works great. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
