ok ,i checked the noise on my engine, and adjusted the valve lash, the noise stopped, but my engine is failing, i took my car to the mecanic, and got my carburetor working alright, cause i thought that was the problem, but now...
when the rpm passes 2000, there a louder sound coming form the engine.
the mecanic says that it's the crankshaft, and that a spark plug works whenever it feels like it, can that be true ???

sounds like you should start doing some serious diagnosising, compression ,vacum, put at least 100psi on each cylinder with rocker back off and see where the leak air goes,if all that checks out the motor has to come out to check the bearings and wrist pins, good luck dont give up .
