I'm attempting to follow the protocol found at the Jim's Performanced Automotive site, as recommended here. That is the intake centerline method. I started by aligning the dots on the comp timing chain. The point of max lift on cylinder #1 seems to be @ 229 degrees. The cam centerline is supposed to be 105 deg (St-1 carb. Are the dots 124 degrees off, or am I? The duration is 226 @.50. The cam card is, of course, lost in a singularity vortex. Any help? |

You could try an entanglement trace to find out where it went. |

Beyond the event horizon? D'oh: I just figured out that I was on the exhaust valve rather than the intake. THAT might have something to do with my result. |

If we let the location of the cam card equal A and the location of the hapless cam installer equal B then the relationship of A to B, in classical terms would most likely be expressed by H(A:B)=H(A)+H(B)- H(A,B) neglecting quantum effects. Or I might have recycled it with the box the cam came in. |

Just split the overlap event over TDCEx and call it done. DD |
