You could not give me a Barry Grant carb. It may work fine after you take it apart and machine in all the passages they forget to do, and clean out all the junk they leave in.

Has anyone tried one of these Barry Grant carbs in place of their Carter BBD? If so, did it work any better? |

I agree. My brother has bought a couple and the first thing he does is rebuild them. They do have some cool features and if I remember he bought them dirt cheap. That may explain it.... |

they're no good for a street car. Go with a 500 cfm economaster and you'll be much, much better. |
