Post subject:  Exhaust / Intake Manifold Bolts

I'm getting ready to install replacement manifolds in my '86 Dodge B250 Dayvan. I'm trying to use as many new parts as possible, partly so as they are new, but mostly so I can delay having to disassemble as much of the old manifolds as possible.

I would like to use new bolts and stud to hold the manifolds together. I have a new stud, but not the bolts.

Could anyone give me the specification of these two bolts so that I can get new ones before I start the job.

Many thanks in advance,

Richard.

The bolts can be replaced with ordinary grade 8 or stainless steel hardware store items of the correct length and thread. You'll want to see this post, which contains hardware recommendations and links to additional good info.

And use the good gaskets for the manifolds-to-head and the intake-to-exhaust (heat riser/hotbox) junctions.

Any idea what the length / thread is?

I've already got the GPRS manifold/head gasket and intake/exhaust gasket. What a great bunch of guys to deal with. Arrived within the week and the packaging looked like it had come from next door!
