Since I've got my new composite gaskets on the way from Oz and I plan to also change out all my head/manifold studs, how tightly do I want to insert the new studs into the head? Just snug until they stop, or is there a method to torquing them down a certain amount? Also, should I just assume that I'm going to have to have the face of my manifolds machined back to a perfectly flat surface? |

I have done both my supersixes after having the manifolds resurfaced as a unit, made it simple, and pretty leak proof. |

Did you have it done before pulling the manifolds apart, or upon reassembly?
