I just changed out six's in my 79 Aspen and reused my Super Six intake/exhaust manifold as the motor I transplanted was a '80 1 barrel. I used a FelPro gasket. Worked great, no more exhaust leaks, great vacuum. I torqued them from the inside out, back and forth side to side. Torqued them to 10 foot pounds. Do I have to retorque with this style gasket or am I good?

I'd say it wouldn't hurt to verify that the nuts are still at 10 ft-lbs. Just check 'em in the same method/order you'd torque them in case some have loosened.

You can go up to 12ft-lbs on the manifolds to head bolts.
