I have a 64 valiant with a 225 with a 3 speed and I know the bolt pattern on the cranks changed over one of the years. What i need to know is will a 225 from a 73 swinger with an automatic bolt to my 3 speed manual. I dont remember what years you need the special spacer for if if it even matters with the manual? Thanks Michael

its not the bolt pattern that changed, it's the crank flange and how
it centers and fits the flywheel.
67 is the last year of the small flange, 68 first year of the large flange.
So you will need the right 'late' flywheel or have your
flywheel made to fit the larger flange. There is a 0.10" differance
in the OD (or .05 off each side (radius)) larger on the new
from the old.

Furthermore check is there that bushing for manual input axle in the rear of your new crank.
