Let's cut the crap for a while, and get together and buy Bren's motor and prove what it will do. I am incredibly interested in the block and rotating assembly. I really have no interest in the head, cam, intake, carb, or pan. I have some buried coins laying around, c'mon, work with me here guys! |

I will throw a few coins into the pot. May-be we can get Charlie to pick it up and take some measurements. DD |

No coin available, but can pick it up and contribute time, and labor. He is not that far from me. I also have a 65 Valiant post car sitting here with no engine or trans in it. Track ready should weigh about 2600 lbs.

You'll have to add about 700 lbs to make it fair. That would be 3300 with me in it. |

All I'm interested in is the short block minus cam. I have the rest of the stuff to really put this thing to the test. Please guys, keep this one civil. I'm thinking that with my old wore out Clifford cam and a Jeffrey head I could go deep in the 13's on horsepower alone. |

Hey Brennen, Were you just venting frustrations? You're going to keep going on the project, right? I'll be tinkering with my car for a long time before I expect radical results. Of course my expectations are somewhat mellower. I'm toying with putting my stroker in a W-100 short and setting it up for rock hopping. All torque. Less weight. Never know. CJ |

I told him he'd get lots of support over there. I hope he finds what he wants and is happy with the result. |
