Post subject:  ANNOUNCE: Thermostat P/N change

Hi, all, I screwed up (my brain must've been unplugged) on the Stant SuperStat part number. It is not 13358, which is the regular normal thermostat.

Stant SuperStat P/Ns are as follows:

160° - 45356
180° - 45358
195° - 45359

Stant's info on SuperStats is here .

I've tried to go through and edit all the posts where I gave the wrong P/N to supply the correct one, but may have missed a few and cannot edit those made by other posters.

Hi Dan,

I went to Napa and gave them the Stant number (13358). They told me that the number does not exist, but, Napa makes a superstat. They gave me a 180 degree thermostat (Part number 530080). Any thoughts about the Napa Superstat?

Your NAPA guy was looking at his NAPA thermostats catalogue, rather than his interchange function. 13358 is the Stant number for a standard Stant 180° thermostat. NAPA sell Stant thermostats under their own numbering system.
