Finding a kickdown linkage to do a super six has been a challenge, so my question is it possible to do with a lokar type cable kickdown? Has anyone done such a thing and how difficult is it? |

I have done it. The hardest part was fabbing up some linkage at the carb. Took me 30 minutes and $4 worth of aluminum pieces from Home Depot. |

I put on a Lokar linkage, and didn't even bother hooking it up to the carb. I connected it to the gas pedal instead. |

No pics, but it was not too hard to make work. I simply added a flat onto the carb linkage to extend it, and hooked the cable to it. Going to the gas pedal would probably be easier still. |
