Can 3.23 gears from an A-body 7 & 1/4 rear diff be installed into an F-body 7 & 1/4 rear diff? I would think that they probably would, but I don't know for sure, and I hate to assume.

If someone would let me know, I would appreciate it.

Thanks in advance!

The year(s) are important here. All "early" 7 1/4s used pinion "shims" where "later" ones used a crush sleeve and carrier bearing "adjuster rings". (started in 1970??) For an easy gear swap, you want to use the gears designed for the housing set-up you have.
