'72 Valiant 318, my battery tray is heavily corroded. I wonder if the repro ones and their assoiciated clamps that I've seen on various online parts sites are worth the money?

If a repro battery tray is, let's say, 75% as good as a new original tray, that's still going to be a lot better than a rust-eaten old one...don'tchya think? ;-) Yes, go get a repro tray and hold-down.

I bought the tray that 1A Auto sells on ebay and it worked out perfectly on my 71 Duster. Although I see they upped the price because it was only about $20 a year ago when I bought it. Check it out
