How much to add and how often? Purpose of this EOS ? Must I purchase from dealership? Or parts Store or on-line vendor? THANKS. |

Full info here . In a nutshell: From GM only, 1 cup (8 oz, ΒΌ-qt) per oil change. |

I checked online at the link given and it says that it was discontinued. I then called the local Chevy dealer and he sold me 4 quarts that he had on the shelf for $6.99/ each. What do we do when this is gone? Rick |

I stopped by at my local Chevy dealer to inquire about the EOS. He had 7 bottles on the shelf so I ended up buying all of them. I asked whether it had been discontinued and the parts guy wasn't aware of that. Said he sells a couple of cases a year. |

Valvoline Premium Blue 15-40 lots of ZDDP and can be used on break in without EOS. |

Latest news is that it is still available from GM's AC-Delco division under AC-Delco P/N 10-106 (1-pint bottle) |

It looks like GM have brought back the quart/litre bottle of EOS, under p/n 88862586. See here. Availability "soon". |

The new issue of Mopar Enthusuast has a piece on oil additives and gm eos and ZDDP.Anyway says Mopar Performance is working with a "large additive manufacturer" on feasibilty of offering ZDDP for us old flat tappet folks.Maybe in the "near future",Would be nice if it comes to pass |

If it isn't on back order, and if we do get it will it fit? Get some STP and be done with it. |
