new here, so i did the whole supersix swap a few years ago, been happy wit it until i drove my 77 cherokee wit a 360 for about a month...
i dont want its gas mileage, but a lil boost would be ok. i think i got the carter 2barrel on there, and ive been thinkin about boosting the metering jets. i dont know what the stock size is, or where to find a larger jet size... anyone got some insight?

edit, i think the jettin the low speed circuit larger can help wit my cold morn bogs. even the i gots a manual choke

Errr...
Is the question:
"How can I get a little more "pep" out of my Super Six equipped SL6"?
(It is hard to get a SL6 to run as strong as a 360 V8, but it will get better gas mileage )

i know its not gonna be anything near it. but my mods on leaning towards jetting, i am also tryin to smooth out my morning bog, my choke just doesnt do it for me sometimes, if i boost gas in initial take off it wont be much of a prob. my 360 was running awesome wit no choke on cold days.

Im not sure off hand but you could look and see if the afb/e-brock jets will work. I know the rods wont but they do use the same accl. pump so is worth a shot. most people drill'em out (jets).

Get a Holley 2bbl. Holley jets will swap.

A 2bbl off a 360 or a 400 would be a Holley. There is a 383 BBD but I know knothing about them.

Or just get a 4bbl intake and get a 4bbl.

Factory carb on your 360 is having problems? I am thinking that something is wrong with the carb. Factory jetting ought to be on.
