I have an 82 truck with 225 and auto trans. I also have a Carter YF 1bbl carb. As of right now I have 2 fuel filters, the normal one for the slant and one that is hooked up to the carb itself. The filter on the carb just makes the hose fit. Will this be a problem at all? If it is, I will drill a hole in the filter hooked up to the carb to get better flow.

As long as you remember to replace both fuel filters at regular intervals, there's no need to hack, modify, or bypass either one.
