Hey every one, I am in Columbus OH. for the mopar nats. I bought a 2.5 in fan spacer for $ 10.00 and replaced the 1 in. with it. This brought the fan 1.5 in. from the radiator, thus keeping things allot cooler at idle and slow speeds. It was so bad before the car would vapor lock in heavy or slow moving traffic. |

If you'd like to play if safer you could always buy a lower thermostat for the water pump so it'll cool when the engine is at a lower temp instead of what you have now.Because mine was froze up broke take your pick but i through a 160 thermostat in mine not sure if thats too cold but just a suggestion. My car runs cool never has any hint of overheating Kevin |

160 is too cool for a normally aspirated, street operated engine. Your fuel mileage and performance will both suffer and engine wear will be accelerated. 180 is a much better choice. |

Why thank you i'll go pick up a 180 tonight i had a sneaking suspicion that the 160 or it might have been a 165 was too cold. |
