Post subject:  Info for Doug Dutra

Hey! Doug...
I wanted to tell you about the change I had with Addco on those swaybars for my 65 valiant with the 74 disc brakes...
Addco got tired of me calling, I had talked with Mr. Osborn whos the Tech advisor there. He said they really don't do any sway bars for non stock cars anymore and the picture you sent me would'nt fit under my car. I measured and made up a drawing for him to view and he instead refered me to a shop in florida called Saner Performance and I talked with John Carson who can make up any combination I need for the car. Price range is $175.00 each, front and back kits, these also are powder coated.
He was real nice and knew what I needed right away, his company also makes a lot of sway bars for Addco too.
Anyway thought I would pass it along to you...
And thanks for the push in the right direction.
I should have them installed for the Slant 6 rally at Alviso in Sept...Hopefully...
Brian...

Thanks for the up-date Brian, this all makes sense seeing that a number of years back, I was working with John Carson, when he was working at Addco! No surprise that he "knew all about" that special bar you need, he worked with us to engineer / design it!

Sounds like John is out on his own now and doing all the "specials" while Addco does the "production work". email me John's new contact info. so I can up-date my files. I have a "oversize special" I need to call him on.

No problem Doug...
Mr. Osborn said that John did'nt want to relocate to North Carolina to stay with Addco so he opened his own business...
Here's his site...
