Where can I find a moderately priced set of truck headers for an 85 D100? |

www.cliffordperformance.com provides long ($369) and short ($339) headers for a slant six. There may be others. TJ |

Dutra Duals. More cost-effective than headers, and unlike Clifford, Dutra won't take your money and make dumb excuses for months about why he hasn't sent your parts yet, or refuse to help you when the parts don't fit 'cause they're poorly made. |

Hello, My opinion....use the Dutras on the D100. I can send you a pic of the Dutras on my D100 to show you how well they fit, but basically Dutras a logarithmically tougher than ANY header, assuming you think 3/8 inch of cast iron is more resistant to exhaust cycles than is sheet metal. Also, you can construct a finely tuned exhaust with the Dutras while the headers severely limit your pipe length before the "Y". I have yet to see a good reason to use a header when customizing and attaching an ideal exhaust system to the Dutras is so simple. Just my opinion. rock '64d100 |
