Picked it up on may 21st for $900.

specs:
225 slant 6 engine with roughly 200,000-300,000 miles on it. New tires. New timing chain, new oil filter, and its been timed. (guy i bought from had the timing off by well...alot.) Thats about it.

The good: It runs, and gets around 16 mpg.

The Bad: needs all new interior, needs a new paintjob, rust needs to be sanded off and the dent needs to be taken care of, new floor pannels, the vynal top needs to go, and an engine re-build.

Yesterday i went out with my Dad to an interior shop. Turns out its going to cost around $2000 with me doing all the work. And i only have roughly $700 on me right now. So im not about to pay that much.

Cool thing is though, is the owner of the interior shop told me that their was an old lady thats trying to get rid of her 69 dart swinger. So my Dad and I went down to her place, took a look at it, and now im in love with it. Its in near perfect shape, one rust spot thats only about 6 in. wide by 4 in. tall and some bondo which their is barely any at all. Engine is a 170 with 105,000 original miles on it. Best thing though is it needs no work on the interior and barely any on the exterior. And its blue which is what i wanted for my dart that i have now.

So now im waiting for the woman to call me to see if she really wants to sell it to me. And if she does my dad is going to spot me the money, sell my Dart and pay him the money i get for the dart.

So im hoping she will sell it to me.

anyways ya thats my dart.
