Post subject: Info on Jahns pistons

I just got a set of Jahns high compression pistons for the slant. They are part number 1134 PRP .060.
Would any one have specs on these pistons? EI: weight, compression ratio, ring configuration, etc. Also a source for rings. Thanks.

Measure ring land widths(should be stock @ 5/64,5/64,3/16?) and check out www.hastingsmfg.com for rings. They are very helpful and will respond via e-mail quickly. They also sell direct with a credit card.

Charlie,

The last set of Jahns pistions I used took factory .060 o/s rings. I do not have much info on the ones I used except that they were a cast "bucket style" piston with no steel expansion control strut. They were "full float" with a "pop-top" dome on them. I will say that I have put a bunch of 7,000 rpm passes on that engine with no problems. (yet)
