Is there anything other than the carb linkage that might cause me a headache? Will the 66 auto trans bolt up? Thanks, John |

If you intend to use the 66 trans you will need a bushing on the back of the crankshaft. I am doing the same thing right now and I am using the old manifold set and carb, so I can use all the same throttle linkages. There is a resource listed in Frank Adkins Chrysler Performance book for the crank bushing. If you need the info, let me know and I will look it up for you. Chris |

Oh yeah, the 66 flex plate won't work on the late model crank either. You'll have to get a post 68 flex plate. I am dealing with EXACTLY the same thing right now. C |

Thanks everyone, I did a quick search and found a post about tflitepatty selling the bushings, so I sent an email. I hope the engine will come with the flex plate, so all else I have to do is find an oil pan gasket, and get the deal done with the engine. The fella I'm dealing with seems a little wishy-washy. Once again, I appreciate the advice. John |

Dang I need the oil pickup too?! Ugh. One of the guys on bigblockdart hipped me to the oil pan thing. (sorry I forgot that freefish) so I pulled the 66 pan last night. DD guess I'll be swappin' the tube tomorrow night:) Thanks Doc!! Chris E. |

One more thing, if I get the trans with it, will it match up to the driveshaft? drive train is coming from a 71 duster. My barracuda is a 66. Thanks again... |
