So i parked my 74 dart yesterday, and then tried to start it a few hours later. The car has no power at all, the lights do not work, nothing. The battery is fully charged. Is there a ground or solenoid or something that would cause this, it must be minor i just cannot figure it out. Help! |

Pull and clean the battery cables and try it again. I once had a nearly new battery cable fail inside the insulating jacket. I was scratching my head for quite a while until I pulled on one end of the cable, and it separated. There was no visible indication that the metal had corroded away inside. |

Check your ground. The neg cable should bolt to the engine block and the smaller wire should bolt to the body. Make sure both connections are clean and tight. Hope this helps TopHat |

Also, check your ammeter wires under the dash. Loose cables on that will shut everything off intermittently. Ammeter could also be bad. Lou |
