I purchased an Electronic choke, kit #1231 for a 65 with a 1920 holley, and the choke bolt pattern does not match my manifold. I also checked the pattern against my parts 65 Dart. The supplier has measured multiple kits and indicated all have a 2 3/4 center to center spacing on the bolts. My manifolds have a 2 5/8 spacing. Although I could elongate the holes, the furnished link is also too short at 6 inches which the supplier also verified matches his other #1231 kits. Either I have two incorrect manifolds or the supplier has an incorrect batch of kits.
Can someone measure their early slant for the choke bolting centerline distance :?:

There is about a 1/8" difference between '60-'65 and '66-up exhaust manifold choke pocket bolt patterns. The #1231 doesn't quite fit on the '60-'65 choke pocket, but it remains the correct kit to use on your '65. Either elongate the mounting bracket holes in the bracket, or use only the mounting hole closest to the carb.

The pushrod is shorter on these electric chokes than on the originals, and it always looks like it's never going to fit...until the choke is mounted and hooked up, then it becomes obvious that the rod hooks up just fine.
