how much diff is a jeep 4.0 intake manifold front a slant

No way to make the one fit the other.

Too many people who were born on third base actually believe they've hit a triple.

I believe they're both one piece inline castings, but all similarities end there. The port order doesn't match, and a Jeep manifold usually has a log and branches layout while the standard slant layout has a rounder plenum that splits into long runners.

You'd have an easier time trying to put a BMW intake on a slant than the Jeep intake - I could see taking the plenum off the BMW intake and putting it on fabricated runners to the slant head (although it wouldn't be easy at all). But to install the Jeep intake you'd have to hack it up with a bandsaw and weld the pieces together in a totally different shape. By the time you were done all you'd have left of the Jeep intake would probably be the throttle body flange and parts of the runners.

maybe we can have a jeep mani and send it over to china and have it copied. It will fit the slant then.
