I'd like to pick up a good book on EFI that can help take me through the building and tuning process.

Any recommendations?

Well, I'm working on co-authoring one along with Jerry Hoffman (also from DIYAutotune). But it can take over a year to get a book published, often longer. So in the meantime, Ben Strader's book is one that's a good one. Jeff Hartman's older book, Fuel Injection:Installation, Performance Tuning, Modification, also covers the subject.
