Anyone ever do a "shopping list" for rewiring? Something like this would be great: 72 Dart /6 No A/C (fire wall forward or engine bay): 10 ft 16 gauge red 30 ft 16 gauge black 5 ft 18 gauge red w/white stripe 100 ft 14 gauge black 15 ft 16 gauge yellow/green stripe ...etc. Sources: ABC electrical wiring, www . EZ 21 Complete harness with fusebox http://www.ezwiring.com/twentyone.htm This harness is based off of GM color codes and design, but will work just fine in anything. I like EZ Wire for the wire numbers imprinted every foot on every single wire. At $185 it's a bargain, especially compared to similar products such as Painless. |

When I've repaired harnesses for the Tidewater Mopar Club giveaway cars, I used lots of donors from other years and models to find the right color/stripe and connector combinations to match the factory specs, and keep very detailed records of any deviations from stock for the future winner. I've been pleased with stuff I got from Waytek; they offer automotive wiring in various color of combinations for a price. |
